Management Planner

The Asbestos Management Planner course is for accredited asbestos building Inspectors looking to continue and grow their asbestos oversight and management skills. Originally just for individuals who prepare management plans for schools, the management planner discipline now is recommended to cover tasks associated with the management of asbestos containing building materials found in other facilities as well. Gain the professional skills you need to advance in the ongoing management and inspection of asbestos containing building materials. As a minimum requirement for the performance of management planner activities, the 16 hour initial asbestos management planner certificate is the ideal solution for anyone looking to advance their career in the asbestos industry. The completion of the asbestos building inspector (24 hour) course and subsequent annual refreshers (as applicable) is required to be eligible for enrollment in this course. The management planner course will explore management planning activities in all areas of public, commercial, private, industrial, educational, governmental, and residential buildings/sites and give information on how to properly identify and manage asbestos containing building materials (ACBMs) and asbestos containing materials (ACMs). This course will prepare the student for a variety of jobs in asbestos material management and for the state-administered certification exam (dependent on state regulations). With this certification, the student will be qualified to apply for a position as an Environmental Manager, Facilities Manager, and Director of Operations (to name a few) at leading facilities across the US, including US – regulated territories and military sites.
